It’s been a good and bad Christmas for us here in Texas. Poor Sander spent the day sick as a dog. Luca hit his head on the coffee table last night and had a giant lump as a result. It was a rough start to Christmas.
However, the kids all enjoyed it. That’s what matters, right? We all ate until we could eat no more. Oz and I both got a good, long nap. We both needed it. Sander kept us both up most of the night. The kids got to watch movies most of the day. Corde learned how to make buttermilk pancakes and deviled eggs. It was a pretty good day, all told.
As we do every year, we’re going to hold our gift of the year event. Since I don’t have pictures of everything, nor the links, I’ll be posting from the library on Friday. Normally Oz would have to work, but his job let all the temps go on Monday, talk about timing. However, keep your fingers crossed. There is an even better one coming up, and with a little luck and a few prayers, he could even start on Monday.
I hope you all have had a fantastic Christmas! Best wishes from all of us!
